Hello All,
A client asked me to proofread a document (around 1300 words) and re-type. Should I charge for re-typing separately or include it in the price of proofreading and maybe raise the price of proofreading? If price re-typing, should I charge per hour or set a fixed price for the entire document. I don't know how to approach it. Thank you for your advice.

charge for both Jul 7, 2005

You're asked to perform 2 tasks, so you should charge for them both.

I would apply my general hourly rate for typing + general proofreading rate.
