Hi there, Has anyone ever wired/sent money/a check from a euro zone country (e.g. Germany, France, Italy, etc.) to Egypt? If so, is it very expensive? And which details do I need from the recipient so that he gets the money? Do they also work with something like Swift/Bic/IBAN and for which (German) bank forms have a field? How do you usually handle this? Thanks for any advice/hints how to best proceed (withouth using PayPal though, I'm no friend of this system...). ... This transfer takes 3-4 business days. I have also another client in London paying me in the same way, but I don't know how much transfer fees they pay. Please note that PayPal does not cover Egypt and most of Middle East countries, but MoneyBookers does. Best regards, Waleed ▲ Collapse

Hi all, Thank you for your input/suggestions, it does not sound as complicated/expensive as I thought it might be. Best, Tanja
Hello Tanja, You only need Benficiary name, Account No., and SWIFT code, whereas there won't be any IBAN (in most Egyptian banks as far as I know).
