Hi,
I'm asking this to all translators living in egypt, how to handle money sent by checks from US companies?
Do you receive the check by regular mail? do the banks make a lot of routine?
Is it better than wire transfer?
Another question, is there a way to sign up in paypal though I live in Egypt?
Thanks in advance

You can accept checks May 6, 2006

Hello,

Here is what I know but please check first with your bank:

- Yes, you can receive checks from the US, either on your home address or get them sent directly to the bank.
- I do not believe that it is too complicated to process the check or add it to your account.
- No, you can't have a PayPal account as PayPal does not offer services in Egypt. But you can use Moneybookers. It works the same way and efficient too.

Good luck,
Nadia
