Happy New Year!

Starting off the New Year, I'd like to ask if anyone has any recommendations for enforcing collection of non-payment.

I have two long-term outstanding payables: one in Spain and one in Belgium.

Also one in California.

Any help or recommendations from anyone with experience enforcing collection would be of great help.

Thank you very much!

Harold

Hi Harold,

This has been discussed before. Take a look here (it's in Spanish, sorry!):

Also, try to do a "Forum search". Something will certainly come up.

Hope it helps.
Best.

This outfit worked for me. Jan 11, 2007

I recently passed on a debt to Global Recovery Alliance AG in Switzerland. They were able to secure payment with a single phone call. The downside was that I had to pay about half of the amount receivable in fees.

Thank You! Jan 11, 2007

Hello, Mar:

This looks like what I need. I have written to the Spanish agency advising that if I don't receive full payment or a reasonable settlement offer, I'll proceed with the "procedimiento monitorio".

Great help and Thank you!

Happy new year and wishing you the very best!

Harold

Good for Belgium ... Jan 11, 2007

Thank you, Tim, for the useful recommendation.

I'll contact the agency for the collection of the outstanding debt in Belgium. It's never inexpensive following up on bad debts and it's really a shame that things like this happen out of intent and not simple mistake or misunderstanding. Everyone loses.

Once again, thank you for your help and Happy New Year to you!

Kind regards,

Harold
