I think so, because of Internet.

Will private property disappear any soon? Sep 1, 2008

Patents, IP and private property. Will private property disappear any soon?

In my opinion, patents are necessary and a solid patent system guarantees that investors are willing to invest money in expensive R&D. Without private property and patents protecting inventions and developments, inventions and developments would simply cease to exist in a country.

Cars and aeroplanes will become useless Sep 1, 2008

I think so, because of Internet.

Do you want more useless statements, I can produce them in no time at all.

By the way, do you believe I could get a patent on producing useless statements.

If you happen to find any investors, please point them in my direction.

And could you please produce a summary of the thread.

Siegfried

Why patents? Sep 1, 2008

You can argue about copyright, but patent system is in no way affected or threatened by Internet.
