This is just to wish luck to all translators residing in New Orleans who might be on their way to a safer place or might have decided to stay after all.

I have just read that the storm is a force 2 one now, so it might not be as devastating as Katrina after all...

I have been watching the live coverage for a couple of hours now Sep 1, 2008

(In the background, while I am working).

Watching this monster coming in, how the wind started, the sideways-rain and now the water rising gives me the shivers.

I truly hope they have been better prepared this time and nobody gets hurt.
