Yes, get well soon! Oct 26, 2008

Thanks, Roman, too, for letting us know.

I have not used the PC much this weekend, so I just visited this website today and your message caught my attention immediately, because I have exchanged ideas and opinions with Yuri through the forums more than once, so I am sorry to hear about this sudden health problem.

Please let him know that all his Prozian "e-colleagues" like myself send him their sincere wishes for a prompt recovery.

Respectfully,

I'll pray for him, too Oct 27, 2008

I don't know Yuri but I'll pray for him, too, may he with God's help win his struggle.

When I read the name 'Yuri' I immediately opened the post because another 'Yuri', a Russian friend, played an essential role, many years ago, in the adoption of my three Russian children...

Come on, Yuri, don't give up! We support you from everywhere!

How very sad! Do not give up!! Oct 27, 2008

Dear Yuri and family,

I am so sad to hear that Yuri is in hospital with stroke suspected.
I had a TIA (transitory Ichemic Attack) last year and i got through unscathed.
I really hope that it is a TIA and not a stroke, but on the other hand I know of people having had a stroke and who have been able to recuperate completely, so I hope that everything shall be done to get Yuri through, back to the same Yuri I so appreciated to meet at the Kharkov ProZ.com conference.

He impressed me with his Swedish and we exchanged interesting ideas, one of them being good nutrition and I told him that since I started practicing the LCHF (Low Carb High Fat) diet my general post TIA-condition has improved considerably and I have not felt better for many years.
If this diet is of interest, please contact me at my ProZ.com mail at www.ProZ.com/profile/1749

Highly doubtful in his recovery Oct 28, 2008

I don't know who Mr. Smirnov is, but he is a human being nonetheless AND our colleague... although I don't have certification and/or nor authorisation. So, I wish him well and VERY MUCH good luck even though... chances are quite slim in such cases.
