Hi All,

I have attempted to write a poem trying to explain the complexities in Hindi technical translations. I hope all of the translator colleagues and friends will enjoy the same.
Please take it light-heartedly and not-et-al seriously.

Many a times I feel technical translation creates confusion.
Don't know what's in ur case, but technical hindi is fusion.
Fusion of ancient terms, never easy to understand.
The readers are confused & translator's mind speaks 'bang-bang'.
The number of glossaries make job tougher and harder.
And in originator's mind, they are becoming more n more smarter.
They have their databases to restrict translators.
Translators feel themselves as defenders against solid warriors.
StyleBooks push them to follow language, Glossaries spoil the foods.
Oh, the vendor's changing glossaries and their changing moods.
Alas, the target readers are confused and are no-where.
To whom is all this translated? The readers are no-where.

Ha ha ha!
Hope all of you will enjoy it!
Thanks & Regards!
PRAKAASH

... I think it loses something in translation, Prakaash. But maybe that's just my mind speaking 'bang-bang'.

Hello Prakash

I like it. Keep it up. It can be fun to write poetry.

Even though I am not involved in technical translation professionally, you create a vivid picture. I can imagine the scenario.

And I wonder whether it's the same for Chinese or not ...
