Off topic: Looking for a suitable witty marriage text/poem...(English and/or Croatian) Thread poster: Evert DELOOF-SYS

Friends of ours are getting married tomorrow and I'm supposed to write and/or say something, in English.
Even though I'm not really at a loss for words, I'd still appreciate getting some hints in English and/or Croatian.
Something witty, humorous and sincere would suit me nicely.
And no, hardly any of the hints, tips, suggestions thru Google and other search engines work.
Anyone?

Or should I tried to translate it. Something like this:

I usually write some version of this German saying I encountered 20 years ago: Ohne Ehe ist der Mensch überall und nirgends zu Hause. (Without marriage you are at home everywhere and nowhere).
2.
Hagamos un trato "Let's make a pact"
uses a play on "count" / "count on me" - the real meaning of marriage vows imho. By Mario Benedetti, on Serrat's "El Sur Tambien Existe."
