Hello,

Do we have some Irish people around? Could you please tell me who issues death certificates in Ireland? We are facing the problem that a burial cannot proceed due to the fact that the body has arrived without a death certificate and we do not know whom to contact in Ireland.

I would also like to know whether there is any good online telephone directory for Ireland?

Thank you very much for your help.

Best regards,

Tanja

telephone book Dec 10, 2004

Hi Tanja,

For an online telephone book, try going to www.eircom.ie and clicking on "phone book" (or http://159.134.203.172/search.asp?source=Eircom .

I don't think it covers mobile phone numbers much but it's pretty good for land lines and gets updated very quickly.
