Dear colleagues: a friend of mine is very worried about his girlfriend in Thailand. She lived in one of the zones most hit by the disaster. He cannot read thai letters and would like to know if her name really appears among the names published in the victims list.

I couldn't access more than the first page (she is not on that page) - too many connections. Your friend may use this alphabet explanation (http://www.omniglot.com/writing/thai.htm) trying to identify the first consonants of the name and, when matching, the other letters. I hope he can't find her name.

Unfortunately the name of the girl your friend is looking for isn´t in the list, but he can visit the site and register her name there. She or someone who has any news about her will be able to contact your friend back.
