Hello fellow translators, I have checked the forum rules and it seems that it is allowed to post indications for donations sent through official organisations supporting relief actions related to natural disasters.

I hope our colleagues and their families in Indonesia are alive and well.

how to write formal response to expression of condolences May 29, 2006

What is the very formal and official response to expression of condolences? (Can I ask this question in this forum?, if no, please kindly remove this question)

My response would be:

--------------

Thank you very much for your condolences.

I really appreciate your sympathy.

-----------

But I think those two lines are too short if faxed.
