Male lawyer courts women's clothing

A PROMINENT New Zealand lawyer who is bald and mustachioed turned up to court wearing a skirt and blouse and carrying a handbag in protest of what he says is a male dominated judiciary.

An interesting topic, also much discussed in Spain Jul 25, 2006

especially since women were banned from the judiciary until 1966, the first woman judge was sworn in in 1978, and now over 60% of the young judges graduating last year from the "Escuela Judicial" were women.
