I tried, but I just couldn't keep it up after a week or so. Besides I could never think of interesting things to write about on a regular basis!!

PS: I maintain a personal travel website at VirtualTourist.com and post various photos online at Flickr and Yahoo...they take up more than enough time without having to write witty comments and captions too![]() ... I am really impressed by your paintings!! You are definitely talented, well done!
On the other hand, I also paint as a hobby and you just gave me the motivation to maybe finally get around publishing some of my own paintings online (let's see when I can start working on the webpage for this). It sounds like fun.

I do keep a personal online journal, although I don't write much nowadays. But I've been thinking about starting a blog on translation and language related stuff. I just haven't decided which service to use. There are so many blogging websites out there that it's hard to decide on one.

Yes, I started a blog in April this year to talk about my travels. Right now, it's pretty boring, but it's a good way to communicate with friends and family. I don't have to tell them the same story over and over again. I just tell them to read my blog

I was just looking at several blogs I'd bookmarked to peruse later, and I saw that the most popular services are Blogger and Blogspot. I'll look into them

I started a blog too pretty recently. Though it is also work related, intercultural issues - particularly FR- US - are really personal to me as I have benefited from/been trapped in/strived to build bridges between (pick your choice! depends on the day ) the two most of my life!
