Hi Fellow Translators,

So far, in any forum I have always found 'Member' and 'Member Since . . .' under the name of a member.

What is the difference between the two terms?

Many thanks for your responses.

Best Regards

No difference besides displaying your initial date as a member Jan 25, 2007

Hello,
As far as I know , if you're a Proz member you can choose to display the beginning date of your membership or not.
Best regards.

Paying vs. non-paying member? Jan 25, 2007

Mine lists the date I became a paying member, so it actually looks as if I've only been a member for a short time. I don't think it matters much, so I haven't looked into it further.

whether display the date or not. I for one believe it's not important at all and infact I don't display it... Besides that, there isn't any difference.

Thanks All Jan 26, 2007

for your comments. I am just curious to post this topic because of the two different terms. Now, it appears that the different terms do not indicate different membership status.

Many thanks and good luck.
