Off topic: Cribs vs. Xmas trees. A little help, please...

The publishing house where I work would like to make a book on cribs. In Italy the Xmas tree-to-crib-ratio is about 60:40. What about the other countries? Do you have cribs in your country? Are they popular? Are they \"artistic\"? (The city of Naples, for instance, is renowned for its XVIII-century cribs).

Any help appreciated.

By \"crib\" do you mean \"crèche\" as in nativity scene?
