I prefer \"classic\" ambient music to translate to - Brian Eno, Harold Budd.

which is not to say I don\'t appreciate Madredeus and I liked Wim Wenders\' movie quite a bit also...

I love the music of Madredeus ever since I saw \"Lisboa\", a semi-documentary film by Wim Wenders (Sky over Berlin, etc.).

It is a most wonderful film. One of my favorite directors, actually and I love Wings of desire and Paris,Texas. And for its music, Buena Vista Social Club... super cuban music.

My dream is to visit Lisboa, walk through the narrow streets and all...I will go someday...

Best regards,

Marcela

that's funny... Mar 19, 2003

... just got the \"Lisboa live\" from the library, a truly serendipitous choice, from the library two days ago and that\'s all I\'m listening since. Oh, beauty...

Eno? Try \"Possible Musics vol. I\" with Jon Hassell. No drugs necessary (\'cept coffee, that is!).

I\'m gonna try that site now. Thanks.

Yes - got that one, but I prefer Eno\'s work with Robert Fripp (No Pussyfooting, Evening Star).

Cheers,
