Three or four weeks ago I started using MozyPro as a backup tool for my hard disk. About three or four weeks ago, clients, editors, coworkers and colleagues started complaining that they didn't receive the emails which I allegedly sent or that they don't receive any replies to the emails which they allegedly sent.

Oh my...

MozyPro is checking for new files every two hours and I set it up to make a backup every 24 hours. Is my backup system the culprit?

Thanks so much in advance for any suggestion!

I suggest asking your SMTP server operator what happened to the messages Sep 1, 2008

I cannot imagine how such causation would occur.

Whoever operates your outgoing mail server should be able to confirm, by looking at their logs, whether a given message has been received, and how that message was forwarded. This is how I would go about solving the problem.

This is at least reassuring and I will give the cable company a call tomorrow morning (after the holiday).

Best,

Nicole
