Hi everybody,

Do you know if there is any way (hotkey, macro, etc.) to change from showing hidden text (source segments) to hiding hidden text in Word without entering the Tools Menu, Options Sub-menu and having to check or uncheck the checkbox?

Thank you very much in advance

Regards,

Noemí

Try Ctrl+, Oct 29, 2003

if you use Wordfast or Ctrl+* to use the Word shortcut to toggle Show All.

Regards,
Gerard

Macros Oct 29, 2003

I recorded the following macros and mapped them to my own hotkeys:

Sub Toggle_hidden_text()
ActiveWindow.View.ShowHiddenText = Not ActiveWindow.View.ShowHiddenText
End Sub

Sub Toggle_Show_All()
ActiveWindow.ActivePane.View.ShowAll = Not ActiveWindow.ActivePane.View.ShowAll
End Sub

I think there is a default MS Word hotkey for "showing all", but it didn't work with Czech keyboard layout, so I had to use these macros.

Ctrl + Caps + 8 Oct 29, 2003

In MS Word, this combination shows/hides hidden text. Oh, the "8" has to be the one on top of the "u" and "i" keys: it doesn't work with the numeric keypad.

Regards,
Jero.
