I hardly ever use Excel but have to today. Hoe do I get a new pargraph inside the cell.Pressing ENTER just takes me to a new cell (and I've never met my cellmate before - sorry, couldn't resist).
Any help welcome. I use Office 97.

IT'S OK! I use ALT + ENTER (it must have been lurking somewhere in the deepest recesses of my memory).

I think that you should press Ctrl + Tab to get another paragraph in a cell.

Good luck!

Ctrl+Tab inserts tab in a MS Word table (Tab itself moves the cursor to another cell).

I see your post went in at the same precise moment (03.38 hours) as my addendum! Thanks for the confirmation!
