Hi, Has anybody experienced this behavior?

When I select “MTV” and then click Insert > Hyperlink (from the main menu), it should give me the same text "MTV" formatted and acting as a hyperlink, right? But what I end up with is this strange format:

I tried removing all the templates from the STARTUP folder of Word. To no avail.
Any ideas where this is coming from and what I should do to make "MTV" act as a hyperlink instead ??

I am using Word 2002 in Windows XP with Trados 6.5 and Multiterm installed.

Thanks, MD

Note: replace [] by {} in the example

I've found that sometimes using a CAT tool "undoes" certain settings.
Since I have Word in Italian, I have to guess at what these would be called in English.
In Word, go to Tools > Options > View
On the "View" page the top portion should be called "display" or something like that. Take a look at the upper right box (top of the third column, with only one option).
It says something like "Field codes". Untick that box and you should see your hyperlink as usual.
