I have a German/English version of the software , but have activated Slovenian as well.

When "Spellchecking" a ("Slowenisch") File, I get the sand clock for minutes, an I'm-done message box and nothing else (!?)

I could go and buy on-line from Amebis (for instance) but then again, it looks as if it's in there in the product. Or am I missing something?

Each Office comes with only 3 languages, if you have the German version, then you have EN and FR but not Slovenian.
The Slovenian version has EN and, I suppose FR too.

You will need the "Microsoft Proofing Tools" or other Application from a 3rd Party

There is no Slovenian spell-checker in english/german Word Feb 4, 2005

To use other languages, then those your software comes with (this is mainly German, English, perhaps French), you will have to but Microsoft Proofing Tools.
With this additional software you will be able to use spell-checking in more than 40 languages.

You might be interested in this product.
