Excel converting for Korean

The text is for web site. The client asked me to convert it to certain file. Now there's a problem as shown at the bottom. Have you done this kind of work? What can we do to make it readable? Thanks in advance:

in the MS Excel (.xls) format, it seems that the translations were saved in a .csv format and it converted the Korean text inaccurately and therefore, they are unable to read the Korean translations accurately for the import into their system.

we will not be able to open the .csv file and perform a "Save As" to a .xls format. The reason is that .csv format files do not support the double-byte character set required for such languages as Korean, Russian, Japanese, etc. ▲ Collapse
