I have accidently clicked on "Add to dictionary" and would like to delete this entry from my dictionary. Does anyone know how this is done?

Thanks!

kuletatz,

This is how I just did it!
(I'm assuming your dictionary is MS Word-based):

Open MS Word and select Tools -> Options;

then select the "Spelling/Grammar" tab;

under the check boxes there should be a button (on the right)called

->Dictionaries;

click this and then mark the relevant dictionary (custom or user etc);

click ->Edit

This opens your dictionary as a simple word list in a Word doc. Delete/edit terms and then save the document. This should do the trick -- I hope!

HTH

Thomas

That's it!!! Apr 27, 2005

Hi Thomas - Thank you so much!

This worked perfectly, only variation is that opening the custom dictionary opens a window with the items you have added to the dictionary yourself and can amend it.

Again - Thanks!!!!
