Does anyone know how to get the Slide numbers that appear in PowerPoint footers to localize into other languages. I have tried to change the language settings, both for all of the text in the file and in the default setting and it doesn't work. Any thoughts on how to get this automated text to go to Spanish.

Have you tried template? Jun 8, 2005

Hi,
To change any settings, you need to go to Template (not sure about the actual name, it's under the View tab, 5th from the top) and then change settings of footers for this very file. Try it.

HTH,
Magda
