英語版のWordで文字を縦書き印刷することは可能でしょうか？ご存知でしたら、教えてください。

The only, known to me way of writing vertically in MS Word is to insert a Text Box, choosing option Vertical, but maybe there are some better ways designed especially for languages written vertically?

(This is for Word 2003)

Select File-->Page Setup. In the Document Grid tab you will find the option "Text Flow". With this you can change the direction of the whole text between Horizontal and Vertical.

At least 2 ways to do this (Text box + Table)! Oct 24, 2007

Step to complete the task:
1) You can use either a textbox or a table
2) Insert your desired words in it (textbox or table) and select the words.
2) Choose the "Format" Menu, Text Direction, and then select the orientation you want.

You also use WordArt function (Menu Insert --> Picture --> WordArt) to create words in many styles and directions.
