Natomiast jeżeli chodzi o hosting, to najprawdopodobniej usługa wygaśnie.
Dlatego proponuję Ci rozglądnięcie się za profesjonalnym hostingiem gdzie indziej.
Niedawno szukałem sam - nawet w Niemczech jest dużo ofert.
Zobacz sobie np. tu: http://www.domeny.pl/serwery-wirtualne.html albo tu http://www.netlook.pl/ albo po prostu pogugluj "serwery wirtualne".
Oferowane rozwiązania mają często znacznie wyższy transfer, niż tutejszy hosting. Właśnie to jest moim podstawowym problemem - przy naprawdę bardzo wysokiej jakości usługi na ProZ i braku jakichkolwiek kłopotów z mailami mam limit transferu i ten jest po prostu za mały, mimo podwyższenia za już dodatkową opłatą. Nastęone podwyższanie za opłatą neguje sens trzymania hostingu na ProZ, dlatego najpewniej go przeniosę, gdy tylko znajdę czas na przeprowadzkę.

Uważam, że rzeczywiście - można zrezygnować w dowolnym momencie, tylko że zwrócą pieniędzy odpowiednie do czasu, jaki został - n.p. zapłacono 120 dolarów, przeszło 11 miesięcy, to zwrócą 120-120/12 * 11 = 10 dolarów.
I na ile wiem zawsze ten przepis był taki samy.

Hello Jared,
I am happy you noticed that some Polish members consider quitting ProZ. But... I am surprised you are unconcerned about it.
I would be happier if you and other staff members asked them why they (we) are determined to do so after so many years of active participation, and having contributed a lot to the Polish-English patrimony of ProZ. Why so many valuable and reputable have already left?
I know Polish-English niche is a small part of the whole business but don't we all deserve respect and care as customers and members?

My post was in response to a question regarding how the money-back guarantee works and the relation of hosting services to membership. I wouldn't say that I am unconcerned when any member chooses to cease being a member, regardless of the sub-community; refunds are provided "no questions asked", however. Feedback and comments are always welcome, of course. I cannot always promise the results or answers everyone wants to hear, but if you are not getting what you need out of your membership, I would sure like to hear about it. Trudności obiektywne

Tomku, moja aktywność na tym polu została wyhamowana z powodu czynników obiektywnych. Otóż, najpierw zepsuł mi się laptop, a ja byłam w drodze, co bardzo ograniczyło moje kontakty ze światem.
Laptop trwa w uporze w tym stanie, bo jakaś część musi przybyć z Tajlandii.
Następnie usterki wystąpiły w głównym rdzeniu procesowo-sprzętowym, a mianowicie poważnemu i nieznanemu sobie uszkodzeniu uległ tłumacz, który do dzisiaj z pewną dozą sadyzmu nakazuje swoim organom pracę, podczas gdy one uporczywie kombinują co by tu zrobić, aby rozpostrzec się w wygodnej pozycji horyzontalnej. Po przezwyciężeniu tych niekorzystnych zjawisk myślę powrócić do temu, ale na podstawie dotychczasowego przebiegu i stanu wspomnianych w temacie trudności obiektywnych myślę, że nie nastąpi to wcześniej niż w roku 2012. Podobno koniec świata odwołano, więc tuszę, że uda mi się zebrać, tym bardziej iż widmo końca świata nie będzie mogło być wymówką do uprawiania prokastrynacji.
Mogę wszakże dodać, iż w ofensywie epistolarnej uczestniczą również inni nasi Koledzy na forum o dźwięcznej nazwie taj/pou. Więcej informacji na ten temat, jeśli Cię one interesują, chętnie przekażę przez PW.
