Maybe this is not the best way to go, but I would suggest visiting Warsaw Stock Exchange website. You will find there a section where companies present their annual reports/financial statements etc.

Good luck!

Search for 'raport roczny' and you'll hopefully find some bilingual texts.

Good luck.

Dear Friend,

Translation of the Balance Sheet and Income Statement can be found in the Accounting Act (ustawa o rachunkowości) published in 2005 by CH.Beck (translators: E.Puławska and R.Kozierkiewicz). I would also suggest to look at the the Polish translation of the International Accounting Standards - very helpful.

Regards
Roman

Adding to what Roman Kozierkiewicz wrote:

The Accounting Act is a bilingual edition and therefore very helpful for translating financial statements both ways.

International Reporting Standards Nov 1, 2007

Monika,

You may also find these helpful. They are illustrative corporate financial statements for fictional companies typical for different sectors or industries. They were developed by PriceaterhouseCoopers.
For English: http://www.pwc.com/extweb/pwcpublications.nsf/docid/c2a82df2f68d262f802569a1004f6835

For Polish:

On the Polish site look at three publications with a lighthouse on the cover. The first is for banks, the second for investment funds, and the last contains illustrations from a variety of industries.

Good luck, and here we are to help you in case of any doubts,

Iwonka
