In the evenings (but not right before sleep), on weekends, and on vacation. The latter has been especially nice since I got a Kindle - now I can take a whole load of books without having to carry them.

I absolutely love reading and read novels every night. I'm convinced it's helped me with my English language: reading English books for 15 years must have an effect.
These days however I have an iPad, with Kindle and Bluefire Reader. That means I can download books in my native language (Dutch) in a few seconds. Yeehah! No more need for buying 6 books at the airport on my way home. AND I can download just about every Dutch magazine I fancy. So now I try to mix reading English and Dutch, just to keep me up to speed in both languages.
Another good thing about the iPad is you can set it to night mode. My husband reckons turning a page makes more noise than a lorry driving by, so just swiping to the next page in the dark, no lights on, is brilliant.
Oh, try the website Good Reads, for total book nerds...

I'm an addictive reader and have to read something every day, especially in bed, even if it's well after midnight.
And to the person who said she didn't like sitting up in bed .... why sit up to read?
I snuggle down under the covers with just one hand and the book peeping out and the lamp pointing onto the page. If I fall asleep the book ends up on the floor .... so I don't read hardbacks or anything too heavy!

This worked well for me until I needed reading glasses 8 years ago. I have mostly given up reading in bed before sleeping as a result.
Edited for typo.

As Allison says, when you wear glasses, reading in bed is not so straightforward - my varifocals limit the number of positions I can read in

I tend to have a book on the go at all times. I read for about 5-10 minutes whenever I take a break from work which is usually every hour or 2 - it helps me to rest my brain from the task at hand. I also read during any meals or snacks if I am alone and I really enjoy reading for about half an hour every day at breakfast time (not just on Sundays!), unless I have a job to finish immediately and I wait for my brunch to open my book. I have got into the habit of reading for about 5-10 minutes in bed recently and it is really nice. If the book is fantastic, I may read it in one or two days though I try not to let that happen

Whenever I can manage to fit it in between everything else, which isn't very often. I also understood "breaks" as bathroom calls, lunchtime, etc. I can't remember the last time I read an actual novel-type book from start to finish in one or even just a few sittings.
I like to read something if eating out alone, as it keeps me from scrutinising the other diners, but it is usually only the newspaper, although I usually carry a book too just in case (yesterday I managed to peruse last April's copy of translation/TEFL journal The Linguist). With a bit of luck, today I will probably finish off a Rebus novel that I started just before the new year...

I like books. It's real pleasure to feel a book in hands, to turn pages, even to see pictures - why not? I prefer to read before going to bed. Sometimes I read in bed, it's very relaxing. I adore good detective stories, intellectual and psychological ones, those in which a clever detective is able to think and not only run, shoot or drive like a madman. Books are an integral part of my life and have always been. It's rather bored, I think, to live only in our real world, God has given us an imagination and the ability to create. I believe one cannot create without reading!

I have varifocals, but the good news is that, as you get older, you can read quite well in bed without them ... at least I can!
