It would help the GP admin immensely to know to what extent your computers are protected, since many glossaries contributed to the collection can come with pop-ups, banners and the like.
(We are currently operating on a principle of minimum risk. This means there is a tendency to reject such contributions.)

When I was using IE, I had left pop-up killing job to the Google toolbar, and was satisfied with it. Now I am on Firefox, which is safer anyway, but as I cannot install Google toolbar on it I have downloaded XoftSpy, which not only blocks pop-ups, but is effective against other kinds of malware, adware, whatever. Frequent database updates is a bit boring though, but I care more about security issues now after having had a couple of minor catastrophes - retarded parent syndrome, you know, by the ...
