I wanted to say Oct 7, 2005

that it went off pretty well with personal references ( friends and former colleagues etc., ) such that the local directory entry was superfluous. Best Brandis

Letting their fingers do the shopping Oct 7, 2005

Same as Brandis. In addition, consumers often use the yellow pages to get price quotes from several different businesses, with the intention of choosing the cheapest. The price-driven client you'd get from this type of shopping is not the ideal one for most of us.

The type of client you get Oct 7, 2005

tends to be one-shot. But a telephone book ad's a long-term curriculum call. Expect CVs forever after.
