Increase in productivity Nov 1, 2005

I've found that being able to do online research more quickly has increased my productivity by at least 10% (measured by the number of words translated per day). Instead of having to wait 10 minutes for a pdf to download, I can access the same file in 1-2 minutes before discovering that it doesn't contain the information I need.

Define high speed

Hi Dan,
Good question! Thanks for asking. For the purpose of this poll I mean internet that is faster than 128 Kbps.

However, I know exactly what you mean when you say "Define High Speed!" Recently we decided to add a second internet access service at home, so in case one fails, we still can rely on the second one (Can you believe it, last week they both failed us at the same time though, anyway, back to the main point.) I have found out that even though both services are High speed internet, one of them is much faster than the other. However, both of them provide decent high speed service, so I do not have to bang my head on my computer table waiting for something to download
