Bom dia e bom ano novo 2007. Tenho uma frase no tema dos barcos:"as pontas dos lemes de BB/EB". O que sao estas pontas?

BB e EB são abreviaturas de "bombordo" e "estibordo".
Quanto às "pontas", penso que seja simplesmente uma referência às extremidades dos lemes.
