Why not? Aug 28, 2007

Hello Claudine, I'm near Grenoble too but as I'm very new in this business, I don't think I could bring much to the debate.
Hope others will respond to your proposition.
Best wishes,

Nathalie

Hello Nathalie,
This will be an quite an informal meeting, really.
The point is also that different sorts of people meet, with various backgrounds and experiences

Good idea Aug 30, 2007

I will come if I am in France then. Not sure yet.
You got few answers, probably because not many people saw your post. The announced powwows have more visibility! Maybe you should announce directly.
Another powwow was organized in Grenoble one year ago... it may give you an idea who could attend.
A dozen persons answered, about 8 came to the restaurant to meet others, only 4 stayed for dinner. Although we were not many, it was a very good evening.

I'm trying to find a café with an internet connection, I do not know the cafés in Grenoble but we'll find something.
Could it be located somewhere else?
Where would you all come from?
I would come from the road leading to the Vercors mountain.
Claudine, what will happen during the Powwow in fact?! Are we going to ... work?!!!
Hasta la vista,

Nathalie

Cafés in Grenoble Sep 10, 2007

Hello,

There are two "cafés" with free wifi access - Le Galway Pub and Le Roussillon (no idea what they're like!). Otherwise it's hotels and one restaurant which unfortunately is not free. It all depends on whether you want free access or not I suppose...

Hope that helps a bit!

A bientôt,

Time and venue Sep 16, 2007

Hi to all,

The result of my investigations is that I believe it would be easier to meet at a restaurant in Grenoble, at about noon.
I suggest Le tonneau de Diogène, 6 pl. Notre-Dame (Tram A) as they have sufficient place, it is easy to find, it's not expensive and the food is allright
but we could'nt get access to the Internet.
What we could do however, would be to log on to the city's open wifi access afterwards.

Le Tonneau de Diogène... Sep 18, 2007

Bonjour,

A bientôt.

Luke

Bonjour à tous
Je vous donne tous rdv samedi à 12h au Tonneau de Diogène, donc.
(Après vérification, il me semble être l'endroit qui convienne le mieux.)
A bientôt donc
Claudine
