HELLO,

Does anybody know about the WARWICK translation course to be offered in Chile? Any references about the Warwick University in the UK? Is this intensive course worth taking? I must decide this week, so I 'd appreciate any quick and honest comments Thanks...
Lupa

Information on Warwick University Dec 5, 2004

I got my PhD from the University of Warwick. As far as I remember a Chilean professor who sometimes visits the university (maybe she got her PhD degree from that university or she was once there for a sabbatical leave) arranged a split course (a joint venture) between her university and the University of Warwick. Once Dr. Piotr Kuhiwczak, a famous translation theorist, came to Chile to teach.
The Univesity of Warwick is an international and famous university near Coventry which has a high rating in the UK (usually 5 or 6 among British universities.
I think it is a very good opportunity for Chileans who are interested in translation to take part in the course.

Good luck!
