Hi Colleagues,

Working as a EN/IT>FR translator, I was thinking of "adding a new language pair".

Can anybody recommend some online courses/degree/certificate for translation?

Any links and info would be highly appreciated.

TIA,

Nicolas

HBO Vertaler Frans Jan 12, 2007

You can take a look at the LOI course HBO Vertaler Frans http://www.loi.nl/Hogeschool/Talen/PRD_007702 . As far as I know, the course is in both directions, NL>FR & FR>NL.

Good luck!

Thanks for the tip.

Does anybody know some universities or school offering evening or w-e classes in that area?

I'm in Belgium.

Belgium, I don't know Jan 12, 2007

But the ITV Hogeschool offers semi-distance classes in Utrecht. You only need to attend classes 1 Saturday per month, I believe. http://www.itv-hogeschool.nl/
