I'm writing an article with many examples which illustrate certain linguistic observations. Accordingly, I have many sentences like, "The following example demonstrates...". Of course I try to mix this up with "The example below illustrates..." - but does anyone have any other creative constructions to make this article less boring?

Thanks a lot!

Good luck
