I am wondering what would be a reasonable rate for a transcription project from French to French. I have never done this kind of job before and I don't know what would be a "good rate"

If you mean transcription for an audio, then guideline ca 8 mins for ca 2500 English words (television interview example). Cannot say how this relates to French, not far off. You then have to price for listening to the piece say three times.
