Sorry I can't work out how to reply to you individually - can someone tell me how to add in the thread (in a white box) when replying?

Hit the "quote" button on any individual post and it will open a reply box with the post you are replying to. The open and close quote tags demarcate the white box. You can more them around to only quote part of the post.
