so I don't know what you're matching it with.
However, as a general rule, serif fonts are matched with serif fonts and sans serif with sans serif. Respectively, their connotations are: serif, conservatism, a "classical look", whereas sans serif fonts have a connotation of modernism and "no-nonsense."
Hope this helps. I used to do editing and layout, and have a Fine Arts background.

Agree with Pawel, but the letters in your sample are a bit narrower than Lucida Console.
