Looking for first-hand account from a small business that uses translation services

A well-known US-based magazine is doing a story in which they will offer advice to small businesses on effectively using translation services. The author is looking for a small business that went through the learning process, at first using an ineffective means of getting a translation done (someone\'s nephew who spent a year in France), and later learned the right way to get translation done.
