Has anyone heard from Michaela Tappel, Canada, recently?

I did some work for Michaela Tappel, based in Canada, back in November and then got a sad email from her husband saying she was seriously ill. I was wondering if anyone had heard from her since the start of November and how she is doing. Does anyone know?
