Hello,
Lately, I've noticed a job on Proz.com, specified as: "The outsourcer has requested that this job not be reposted elsewhere.". However, less than 3 minutes later, I've found the same offer on another wbesite specialized in translation.
Do you have any explanation?

Job posted by the same outsourcer on various sites Dec 16, 2003

Karine contacted me with the jobs details. The outsourcer chose to post the job on various sites - which is his choice, of course. Any restriction on re-posting is targeted towards third parties using the data elsewhere.

Thanks for the info nevertheless!
Best regards, Ralf

Misunderstanding Dec 16, 2003

Hello again,
As I have understood it, the outsourcer was right. So, it was probably my mistake to think that the restriction was not against another website, but to prevent from a copycat action. I assumed it was to avoid answering the same offer over and over.
Thanks for your answer.
