I am working on a translation where words from several languages are being used: Albanian, Serbian, etc. One of the words it\'s too tough to translate \"markica\". I already posted this word at the Ask Kudo questions, but I got no answer... If anybody knows the meaning of it, please help me. Thanks Monika

because you posted it as albanian. I don\'t understand albanian so I\'m not able to understand the sentence but in serbian markica could be the stamp (for postcards, letters etc.). Is it possible? Cheers

I was not sure what language it was, it was given to me as an Albanian document, but the language used was \"Kosovo Albanian\" and those guys use sometimes serb, croatian or other words, so I didn\'t really know... Thank you so much I appreciate. Greetings Monika [addsig]

Except for the traditional way, dictionaries online or not...but that doesn\'t really help when you don\'t exactly know what you are looking for.. Anyway, Thank YOU All ! Hello everybody. I was searching for something else and I ended up here accidentally. I know this question was posted looooong time ago and maybe you got an answer, but "markica" is a Serbian term for either a postal stamp or a monthly transportation ticket we used to have here. The bus ticket used to be small, rectangle-shaped piece of paper. I say used to because we have a different monthly "ticket" now, which is in the form of a digitally readable card.
