Off topic: Does Proz really have 44.000 members?
Thread poster: xxxwilliamson
Just wondering how up-to-date the Proz database is with regard to the number of members?
After removing the non-active profiles, the counterpart of Proz, Aquarius did no longer consist of 20000 members, but of 11.000.
If I remember well, a member of Proz died in July 2002, but his profile is still on Proz. Sometimes, outsourcers create an empty profile to be able to post a job on Proz. To what extend are they members? To what extend is 44.000 members a real figure?
| Closer to 34,563 || Jan 11, 2003 |
The number of people whose email addresses have not been found to be invalid, and who have entered language pairs, is 34,563. About 4,500 log in on a busy day.
If you know of a member who has died, please let us know with a support request. At least four people have passed away, but we have removed those profiles.
