Slightly vague May 29, 2012

Normally when price hikes are announced, the information is more specific, so could you please define "slightly" in terms of a percentage?

Yes, I found that kind of "funny" (and this is quite an understatement!)

need to sign up now May 30, 2012

Looks like it is a good thing that I already became a member. So for anyone who is interested in joining, you better do it before July 1st I guess.

A further question May 30, 2012

Will there be the renewal offer, under the current pricing scheme, of "13 months for the price of twelve" before the new pricing scheme takes effect.

This "early renewal" offer has been provided for at least the past two years and, if I'm not mistaken, during the month of June.

Browniz points discount May 30, 2012

Hi Rebecca and writeaway,

The browniz points discount, where a discount can be applied if you have 4,000 or more browniz points, will be at around 15%. In the case of partial membership the discount is already 15%.

Extended membership options May 30, 2012

Hello Atil and Claudio,

The extended membership investment options will also change in the same percentage, so the 10-year option, for example, will be $840 after July 1st, the 5-year option will be 505, the 3-year option 336, and the 2-year option 224.

Hello Lígia,

The pricing adjustments are not based on the inflation rate of any of the countries where ProZ.com has an office. If that were the case I imagine the prices for membership would be much less stable over time.

Hello Robert May 30, 2012

The offer you mention was offered once in 2011 but will not be repeated. Note that the extended membership options actually provide a better membership-per month pricing.
