Virus through Proz?

Hi!



Yesterday morning I received 5 Kudoz mails and after I downloaded them (without opening and with no attachment) they created a file with a .rcv extension which contained a virus (W32/Magistr.32768@mm)..

Is that possible? Did someone have this same experience?

ProZ.com does not add attachments to emails. Furthermore, ProZ.com uses Linux mail servers, so it is unlikely that a windows-based virus could be passed.
