Hello there,

Suppose I submit a quote through the ProZ system in reply to a job ad. When previewing it, I see that it needs editing. I click on the Back button in the form. Now the quote signs (') I used in my quote message appear preceded with a backslash in the edit window. I do my editing and preview again, but now the single quotes appear with a backslash before in the preview window as well (if I preview again, I see that more backslashes have been added).

Clearly the backslashes used to "escape" (as we say in Unix parlance) the single quotes are not recognized as such, and are themselves escaped (small programming error).

Of course it's only a small thing, but the site is so well maintained that bugs are necessarily small

(And there is an easy work-around: clicking on the Back button of the browser, instead of the Back button in the form.)

Thanks,

Jacques
