Hello, If you plan on flying into Nice, you can get the bus schedule for Nice - Aix on this site: http://www.nice.aeroport.fr/acces_stationnement/bus/horaires.asp You'll want to go to the SNCF website for train schedules. Remember, this is a great place to find people to carpool with! John

Hello Sandra If I remember correctly, the bus takes 30-45 minutes to get from Marseille to Aix. You can then either walk to the hotel from the bus stop (10-15 minutes walk to the Aquabella according to how fast you walk) or take a taxi. I'll be posting a map of how to get to the hotel soon. I hope this helps, please feel free to contact me or to post here if you have any other questions.
Hi everyone, I'm looking into the total cost before I can decide to register. I'm coming from Paris, so I think the train would be the best choice. Hi Natalia - Aix TGV station is maybe some 15km away from the town center. However, the fast trains only come to Aix TGV, if you want the shortest train ride from Gare de Lyon, come into the TGV station and take a taxi/bus/etc. into Aix center from there. If you come into the Aix center station, your total train ride from Paris will be longer AFAIK, but you will arrive right smack in town. You can also come into Marseille St. Charles on the TGV from Paris, and then take another train to Aix center, or a bus to the gare routière. ▲ Collapse

Kathryn Strachecky wrote: To get to Aix-en-Provence from Marseille airport, take the bus from Hall 1 to Aix-en-Provence. There is a bus every 30 minutes and a one-way trip costs roughly €7.80. If I understand correctly from the airport web site, this bus goes to the TGV station. Could someone please inform me how often there is a bus from there to the centre of Aix-en-Provence, and how long it takes? Or is it possible/more logical to take a train from there into the centre? Many thanks. Astrid | | | Take the bus navette | Sep 26, 2007 |
The bus navette line runs from Marseille Airport to Aix TGV train station to Aix Center Bus Station, every 30 min. approx, see below from this website. Timing problems | Oct 3, 2007 |
Hi, I will be taking the same train from Paris as Annie Leberre, who will be speaking on Friday morning. However, the earliest train we could find on Friday morning would arrive at the TGV station at 9am, which means that with the autobus we'd arrive late (around 9:30am) at the conference, assuming we don't get lost. We are staying at the aquabella, so that's not a problem. Is there anyone else arriving around this time also? Is anybody carpooling from the TGV st... I would like to find a solution to maybe get us there a little faster, since otherwise we'd be missing the Registration and Welcome scheduled early in the morning. Thanks in advance for any suggestions! Natalia ▲ Collapse | | | John Di Rico France Local time: 17:16 Member (2006) French to English
I would suggest a taxi if there are two or three of you, but there may be a better solution. See you soon, John | | | T.L.S. Italy Local time: 17:16 English to Italian + ...
Hello! My name is Elena and I am thinking of reaching you in Aix. Since I would leave from Venice, I'm trying to plan all means of transport I should catch and the total cost before registering. I don't know which destination airport is better for me, also according to the buses/trains I should catch to reach one of the suggested hotels. Can someone help me with lines and costs? Thank you all in advance. Elena | | | Pages in topic: [1 2] > | There is no moderator assigned specifically to this forum.
