How long a new domain takes to be active? (Staff: Updated)

Hi,
I registered a new domain via Proz.com a few days ago and still my hosting attached to my.proz.net not the new myname.com domain? Ho long do I have to wait? Do I need to do anything to make it active?

UPDATE: Please delete, I found the solution. It's just the "Platinum" word that mislead me on the Help pages.

Yo, a similar problem here.

I have just bought membership a few minutes ago. I have entered your nameservers at the registrar's.

I know domain name transfers takes around 24 hours. But in the meantime, do I not have something like myusername.proz.com to begin managing my files?
